Very informative…I have thining hair mostly in the crown…its been getting progrssively worse. The skin looks healthy. I use a wide tooth comb cause my hair falls off easily without heavy pressure….
you situation sounds complex and being handled by your dermatologist. youtube is not for dispensing medical advice but just outlining general principles of medical care. please ask your dermatologist.
best,
sml

i don’t believe so. you should speak with your dermatologist.
i have dandruff and scratch at it a lot..will either of these cause hair loss?
I gained my hair back by wearing Alex Chiu’s Immortality Rings. My hairline went back to when I was 25. The rings really did help me gain lots of hair back.
sorry to hear that. that is something you need to ask your dermatologist about. there are treatments like steroid injections that can help out but you need to talk with a dermatologist to help you.
I have trich and i have one patch, there are little skinny hairs…very few that grew back. the patch is the size of a marble. will it grow back?
*PATIENTS BEWARE* Dr. Samuel Lam is not entirely honest and using few of his more successful cases to misrepresent himself. He is a phenomenal publicist and is extremely convincing, but don’t be fooled. Its one thing to use youtube for entertainment, but another for a medical professional to exaggerate his abilities and knowledge to millions of viewers. If a plastic surgeon makes himself sound too good to be true, he often is. Don’t let yourself get hurt.
you need to see a dermatologist. when your derm says the condition is burned out and you are a safe candidate for surgery, then i or another hair transplant surgeon can intervene.
i have that to i have a patch of hair missing in the back of my head and it been 6months and its still has not grown.can anybody who has have this please let me know what to do or has any body had it &it grow back??please pleas please so one tell me…
9/10 They will grow back. I lost two large patches and they came back better than before.
the term alopecia areata implies non-scarring but if you just have a patch even circular that you have lost, you need to see a dermatologist to confirm a diagnosis.
i have aalopecia areata and i dont know whether its scarring or non but can you please help me out?please i have 1 missing patch of hair on the back of my head please help?
hey keep your head up, i was diagnosed with alopecia areata non scarring last year at this time, with 10+ spots on my head and now I have 1 spot about a quarter inch long do you take any topical stuff?
i’m sorry to hear that. what kind of non-scarring alopecia? alopecia areata? there are treatments for that. what exactly was your diagnosis? did you have a biopsy?
Wow… my hair loss is all over and i was diagnosed with non-scaring Alopecia. None of what he mentioned I have. I am still at a loss as to why my hair is falling out. I should be bald by the Holiday’s at this rate. I’ve tried EVERYTHING. It feels terrible, looks awful… comes out all day long… it’s everywhere. I can no longer wear it down. It looks awful up. I’m only 45,this has been going on and off for years, now it’s more on than off. Still no help from my docs, or dermatologist.
i am sure that diet and stress can add to the problem. i kindly disagree with you.
I didn’t hear it like that.
