hi- in december i went to get a hair cut and my stylist showed me two spots in the back just like yours. Its the end of march now and im trying to get the strength to face reality and shave what little i have left off. my hair continuosly fell out in circles all over my head. now there are more bald spots than there is hair left.

wow! i love your attitude about it, i first started losing my hair in my teens, it slowly came back years later while in the Army and came back with a vengence in my mid twenties. By this time, i got tired of it and began shaving my head, it still grows back spotty but i just keep it bald.
It made me reexamine me and what really important. Vanity was out the window, lol.
it does mean its going to get bad because every body is different and i have alopecia but the treatment is worth it
honey i have alopecia myself. i basically get bald spots like yours. It grows back but then i end up getting a bald spot in another area on my head. ive taken foam treatments and pills but i really dont want to do the shots. It had me down and out at one point but now im like hey.. its nothing a wig cant fix.

I’m 14 and i’ve had it for a year or so…well mine was just one patch but on top of my head at the back when it started and hear i am a year later taking blood tests and havin thin hair – i can hardly hide it now :’( … you’ll find your hair will drop onto the floor alot – everyday i have to brush my floor and you don’t wanna know how much drops out from my head a day…

i am a 15 year old girl, 16 in about 2 weeks. i found out i had alopecia a few months ago and it was the same size and place as the 1st one you showed and i have now found out i have a new bald patch right at the top back of my head, the new one is smaller but it still worries me.
the only thing is i am really self conscious, you are lucky to not have that trouble.

I know I have alopecia but i’m getting a biopsy to find out what kind and whether or not it can grow back. I’ve lost like 75% of my crown. So I hide it while I still can just like you do.
I hate to hear that you have alepecia. The reason i say this is because i have alepecia. i have lived with this condition for over 40 yearsl Let me tell you that if the doctor told you your hair will grow back he lied to you. I started out the same way, just losing a little hair at a time and then growing back I am now 50 years old. When i was 22 all of my hair fell out and it has never grown back. I have what is called apepecia aorta universal which means i do not have a hair anywherere
I’m sorry to hear that. My hair is thin.. at the top of my hair(crown) is thin, but it has some hair but very thin, not to the point of completely bald..where no hair..its growing just a bit, but keep God in sprint…

I have it too. Most people cant tell b/c I have a whole head full of hair but in some parts its starting. I hide it too b/c my hair is thick. I went to the derma and they injected me with meds and it has started growing but very very very slowly. My Gma has it too. They told me to chill out on the stress its hard b/c I am 15 and in honors classes, band, debate, renassiance, I work and I am learning to drive.. its hard not to stress when life is stressful. praying for and myself
Stress causes any illness, and I mean ANY. Just chill out a bit more and I think you’ll be all right.
Even so, a bald head is nothing to worry about – I’m considering a shave myself…
